High octane makes knock more unlikely. I believe the compression ratio on your engine is only 8.5 or 9.0, so 93 octane is not really necessary. Select octane rating 87 (Research Octane Number 91) or higher. Use of unleaded gasoline with an octane rating lower than 87 may result in engine knocking.
