WebJun 23, 2010 · Without some weight behind it AND a hefty muzzle-break, that setup is going to be punishing. I shoot an Armalite AR-50 and the kick is similar to a shotgun, but it weighs nearly forty pounds and has the aforementioned hefty muzzle break on it. I cannot even fathom shooting a .50bmg in a rifle that weighs 10-15 pounds. Be polite.
